Director

Director Baxter Churchville brings a new vision of martial arts movies to the screen with CHAMPIONS OF THE DEEP. Baxter has written several feature screenplays, and directed the short film Smoke Screens, starring Sydney Penny. He graduated from Harvard, earned his Master of Fine Arts in film from Columbia, and has studied at the Beijing Film Academy. CHAMPIONS of the Deep is inspired by the new generation of martial artists!

Shihan Don Rodrigues brings success to all of his endeavors: as teacher, Don has taught thousands of people the benefits of the martial arts at The Don Rodrigues Karate Academy; as head coach, Don has led the Paul Mitchell Sport Karate Team to multiple National titles; as Promoter, Don has built the Ocean State Grand Nationals into one of the top rated Martial Arts Tournaments in the country. And as Producer, Don extends his lifelong passion and commitment to the martial arts to Champions of the Deep! 

Martial Arts Choreographer

Shihan Christine Bannon-Rodrigues brings her great experience in martial arts, acting, and stunt performance to design the martial arts choreography of CHAMPIONS OF THE DEEP! An 8th degree black belt and 9 Time World Champion competitor, Christine has also acted for both film and television. Her fantastic stunt work can be seen in a number of Hollywood productions, including BATMAN and ROBIN, and THE NEXT KARATE KID.
